Beza Posterity Development Organization (BPDO), with support from the United States Government and in partnership with Project HOPE Ethiopia and CCRDA/Core Group, has launched a five-year Health Security Activity (HSA) to strengthen Ethiopia’s public health resilience. The initiative, unveiled on 5 November 2025 in Gondar, brings together regional health, livestock, and environmental stakeholders under a One Health approach to enhance surveillance, detection, response, and workforce capacity against infectious disease threats. By fostering collaboration across sectors, the program aims to reduce outbreak impacts and build sustainable health security systems for the future.
