The aim of this program is to enhance the capacity of health care experiences for the community and contribute the national aims for reducing HIV/AIDS new infections. BPDO has a proven track record of implementing USAID funded flagship Health and HIV/AIDS prevention, testing and care and treatment programs working directly with USAID as well as in partnership with other international NGOs like Project HOPE, Population Service International (PSI), World Learning Ethiopia (WL/E), John’s Snow Inc, and Pact Ethiopia. • Bensihsangul-Gumuz Region: more than a million population, seasonal labor movement of mining workers.
• Gambella Region: half a million population,40% refugee, higher HIV prevalence (4.8%), higher TB-HIV co-infection rate of 12.3%, Mining Workers
• Afar Region: two million Population, Pastoralist and Agro-Pastoralist community, Salt miners, daily laborers of large farms, and industry workers
• Somali Region: 6 million population, Pastoralist & Agro pastoralist community, clan-based informal structures are worth investigating as platforms for running TB
Implementation Arrangement
• BPDO: is the prime partner and overall project lead and will lead direct implementation of the TB LON Activity in Afar and Somali Regional States.
• LIAE: will lead the direct implementation of the TB LON Activity in the Gambella and Benishangul Gumuz regions

Project Beneficiaries: Female sex workers (FSWs), Out of school adolescent girls and young women (AGYW), women who engage in transactional sex, high-risk men (HRM) including clients of FSWs and daily laborers as well as truck drivers.
Scope: Contribute to the national HIV epidemic control addressing the 95-95-95 targets. Moreover, under this award BPDO is expected to build capacity of local implementing partners through subaward and provision of technical assistance.

Project Beneficiaries: Conflict affected ART clients, and IDPs
Purpose: emergency response to HIV related health needs for IDPs and ART clients including government health system material support, food and other material supports for the community and GBV prevention and treatment of survivors.
